Ошибка при создании индекса 4424
wad1: Здравствуйте, всем! Может быть кто-нибудь сталкивался с такой проблемой? Clipper - программа (5.2e) + Blinker 7.0 + SIX3 на некоторых компьютерах вылетает по внутренней ошибке 4424 при попытке создания индексного файла. Причем на нескольких сотнях компьютеров работает нормально. При этом создается CDX-файл нулевой длины. Есть подозрение на какие-нибудь настройки WINDOWS (речь об XP), но какие - пока не можем определить.

Dima: 4424 Temp file creation error Error creating temporary file for indexing or sorting. This error can be received for several reasons: insufficient file handles, an invalid TEMPPATH or insufficient network rights for the directory where temporary files are created. Note that temporary files are created in the current directory if no TEMPPATH is specified. Action: Correct the environment. If insufficient network rights is the problem, either give the user the necessary rights, or redirect the temporary file to a more appropriate directory. SIX тут не при чем.
Andrey: В настройке WinXP где кнопка "Переменные среды" там есть переменная TEMP и TMP - у них значения по умолчанию %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp - надо поменять на %SystemRoot%\TEMP Кстати и для старых Win98 задач это иногда помогает.
wad1: Спасибо большое! Проблема оказалась в том, что среди переменных среды откуда-то была вписана строка установок для Clipper'а, среди которых было назначение типа TEMP=C:\TEMP. А каталога TEMP на диске С просто не было. Я перерыл кучу информации для того, чтобы найти код ошибки 4424, но нигде не обнаружил его. Если не секрет, Дмитрий, откуда эта выписка?
